ANYONE FOR .... CRICKET?

If you fancy resurrecting a long-lost interest in putting willow to leather or have always wondered if it might be the game for you, the Manuden Cricket Club would love to hear from you. The club plays its friendly fixtures most Sunday afternoons during the summer against local village sides and we're lucky enough to play our home games at the idyllic setting of the green at Rickling Green.

The players are a mix of current and past village residents and we'd be particularly delighted to build on the Berden contingent we added last year. We'd also love to hear from younger cricketers who can help relieve the pressure on the older generation's increasingly creaky limbs.

Please don't feel you need anything beyond an interest in the game. Our most recent recruit had never really played before discovering a real talent for the game last season.
